They are all respected veterans who seemed to really dig the Gang/Mayland duo and the fresh, imaginative songs that they have written together. Their individual solos on songs like “Thrill of the Chase,” “Remember,” and “Up to Speed,” reflected that energy and enthusiasm, and it’s always a pleasure to see musicians really having a good time.”

The CD is finally here!
I am excited to annouce the upcoming release of my first album as a leader, composer and performer. The Wishbone Project is a new group formed in the spring of 2011 by superb vocalist Kat Gang and Nate Mayland. The self-titled debut album features the lyrics of Kat Gang set to the compositions of Mayland, and shows the pair to be knowledgable and comfortable in the language of jazz.
At this time the CD is only available through this website and through the website for the band listed below.
