JAZZ PERFORMER

 

Nate has performed with The Maria Schneider Orchestra in NYC and on tour, and with Jennifer Wharton's BONEGASM. Inspired by the great writing and playing of John Fedchock and Alan Ferber the group showcases Jennifer's bass trombone playing. The group has recorded three CDs and continues to perform in NYC and at festivals.

CLASSICAL PERFORMER

Nate has recently performed with The American Ballet Theater at The Met Opera, The American Symphony Orchestra, The Orchestra of St. Lukes, and recorded with The Knights Orchestra.

COMPOSER

As a composer Nate has written for Jennifer Wharton's BONESGASM, his own jazz quintet The Wishbone Project, children's television show VEGGIETALES, Dave Chamberlain's Band of Bones, and for The Kat Gang Quintet.

BROADWAY

​

Nate has over 20 years experience on Broadway, playing on over 80 Broadway shows on tenor trombone, large bore tenor, euphonium, bass trombone and tuba. He has held 14 chairs of his own and subbed on nearly 70 chairs, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges of both roles.
